Hong Kong-based Christina Ko has covered the global luxury scene for over a decade, during which she has sipped champagne on an Icelandic glacier, scurried down the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival and had the honour of watching Nicole Kidman eat a sandwich.

Deciding she'd rather navigate the coffee shops of Hong Kong with her laptop, investigating that quintessential quandary, "Who will watch my stuff when I go to the bathroom?", she now works as a freelance writer and editor, covering topics ranging from beauty and wellness to arts and culture.

She has met and interviewed a host of internationally recognised names, including celebrities Pharrell Williams, Hugh Jackman, James Franco and Kate Bosworth; artists Takashi Murakami and Mark Bradford; designers Frank Gehry and Marc Newson; chefs Joan Roca and Massimo Bottura; and brand founders Victoria Beckham, Marc Jacobs, Charlotte Tilbury and Vera Wang.

Formerly the editorial director of Prestige Hong Kong, she has written for publications including South China Morning Post, Hong Kong Tatler, Design Anthology, Discovery and Silverkris, as well as for clients such as Lane Crawford, Louis Vuitton, Estée Lauder and the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
